7. Is Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate the same as SLS?

No. Although their names sound similar, they are completely different. Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate is a mild amino acid–based surfactant that is gentle and safe even for sensitive or baby skin. In contrast, SLS is a harsher surfactant that can strip natural oils and cause dryness or irritation.
